Mario Ehrenberg-Kempf is a bassplayer and multi-instrumentalist from Northern Germany. After his studies in Jazz on both electric and double bass as well on piano at the University of Music and Theater in Hannover, he concentrated on working in a wide range of musical styles from British PopRock over Afro-Cuban and Brazlilian Latin over theater music to Jazz and beyond. Stylistic diversity and musical knowledge on music history and theory are his captivating properties that made him a well-known booked sideman on the scene around Hanover.


In 2015 Ehrenberg-Kempf published his own album "Short Stories For Bass" with The MEK Sound Experience which documents his wide abilities on bass as a composer as well.
